The pictures below were take on the afternoon of November 5 in the area of Leogane, Haiti, near the Arkansas Baptist State Convention Haiti base. Roody Joseph, our partner in Haiti, says that he believes there are several deaths in the area. Please be in prayer for Roody, our Haitian Baptist friends, and the hundreds of thousands of people in the Leogane area. The base is unaffected by the flooding, as well as the seven villages we are working with on a regular basis.
Please also pray for Don Settles and his team of nine men who were set to land in Haiti today. Their original mission was to build some 20 transitional homes for amputees and the elderly. If they are able to go in tomorrow, they no doubt will be assisting Roody with disaster relief.
